Sodom and Gomorrah in Bible Prophecy

Sodom and Gomorrah in Bible Prophecy The story of Sodom and Gomorrah is a foreshadow of the destruction about the occur to Israel and the invading nations prior to the coming of the Lord. The Emergence of the Two Angels? In Genesis 19 two angels arrive at the city of Sodom and approach Lot.  Lot sees the angels and bows before them. He knows these angels are sent from God so he invites them into his house and prepares a feast for them. Before they all go to bed the men of the city, both young and old desire to have homosexual relations with these angels. Lot tries to dissuade them, but the men of the city overcome him and begin to force their way into his house. The two angels intervene and strike the men with blindness. Site of Solomon’s Temple is South of Temple Mount

New discoveries in the City of David have unearthed evidence indicating Solomon’s Temple was located south of the Temple Mount. Recently, I was watching a Chuck Missler video (who I deeply respect). Chuck had taken a trip to Jerusalem with Robert Cornuke, President of the Bible Archeology Search and Exploration Institute. Chuck was recounting his trip and the amazement of the discovery of Solomon’s temple. Chuck recommended Robert Cornuke’s book “Temple”. In his book, Robert Cornuke discusses what led him to the discovery that the temple was located about a quarter mile south of the Temple Mount. The temple was located in the City of David or Jerusalem, a 12 acre piece of land south of the Temple Mount with high castle-like walls rising from the Kidron Valley. Here of some of the points from Robert’s book indicating the location of Solomon’s Temple. The Temple Mount was the Roman Garrison Fort called Fort Antonia. Josephus Jerusalem and Temple Mount Today confirms this. The fort was 36-acres in size and housed between 6,000 – 10,000 soldiers. Josephus gives a detailed description of Fort Antonia. He states the garrison was much larger in size than the temple. Roman forts were rectangular in shape ...

ISIS – The Biggest Threat to Middle East Security

The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is on a sweep through Syria and Iraq. This terrorist group is committing mass murders as it quickly moves from city to city. Thousands of foreign fighters and many of Iraq’s army have put down their arms and joined ISIS. Jordon, Saudi Arabia and Israel are on high alert. ISIS has stated they have access to nuclear weapons and won’t hesitate to use them. The group is led by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi who has been called the world’s “most powerful jihadi leader” and “the world’s most dangerous man”. He is a powerful military leader and a ruthless killer. He claims to be a direct descendant of the prophet Muhammad and his goal is to create a Sunni Islamic caliphate.  (A caliphate is an Islamic state headed by a religious and political leader known as a caliph.) Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has taken on the name of one of the first caliphs Abu Bakr, a military genius who ruled the Islamic world from 632 to 634. Most of the Middle East Islamic nations are primarily Sunni muslims with the exception of Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, and Yemen. So what will be the outcome. We don’t know. Here are some possibilities. 1) ISIS ...

Vatican’s Interest is to Control the Temple Mount

Is Israel about to hand over the Temple Mount to the Vatican? During the 1967 Six-Day War Israel captured the Temple Mount and gained sovereign control to the Temple Mount area. However, day-to-day control was given to the Islamic religious authorities, the Waqf. The Waqf forbids the Jews from any form of worship on the Temple Mount, even prayer. Control of the Temple Mount has heated up recently as the Palestinians have clashed with Israel police on the Temple Mount area. The Palestinians are attempting to assert their control.  The Vatican has a real interest in gaining sovereign control to the Temple Mount and has been pushing this for years. Revelation 11:1-2 says that at least part of the Temple Mount will be given to the nations. Pope Francis plans to visit Jordan, West Bank and Israel in three weeks on May 24-26. He plans to visit the Dome of the Rock and the Western Wall on May 26, then meet with President Shimon Peres. It is likely they will be discussing the Temple Mount. A number of news sites (including Christianity Today and Arutz Sheva)  have reported that Israel has been discussing handing the Tomb of David, which is the site of Last Supper, over to the control of the Vatican. A ...
